We make bespoke wedding cakes and celebration cakes which are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat.

At Fancy Cakes by Rachel we only use the finest quality ingredients in your cake.

We bake each cake fresh to order so that you are guaranteed a freshly baked and tasty cake.

We can design a cake for you based on the colours and theme of your party or, if you already have a design in mind, we can create it for you.

Cake flavours
The most popular cake flavours are victoria sponge, chocolate sponge, lemon sponge, red velvet sponge or salted caramel. We make many other flavours as well and, if you don't see the flavour you would like on the cake flavours page, please ask as we are always happy to try our new flavours.

Tiered cakes can be all the same flavour or each tier a different flavour. You can choose. Have a look at the cake flavours page to see some of our more popular cake flavours.

We also make a range of free-from cakes, If you require a cake that is vegan, gluten-free, egg-free or dairy-free please let us know on initial contact and we will let you know if we can make it for you. 

All cakes are prepared in an environment where nuts, wheat flour, dairy products and eggs are used and therefore cannot guarantee nut, gluten, dairy and egg free.

Please let us know if you would like to try some cake flavours. The cake flavours we provide for sampling are the four most popular flavours: victoria sponge, chocolate sponge, red velvet sponge, and lemon sponge. The cake flavour samples are £10 if you collect, or they are £15 if we post them out to you.

Cake Stands
We have a selection of wedding cake stands for hire, including a crystal stand with a water fountain for those who would like a little extra drama from their cake and the very popular crystal pillars. Hoop stands and chandelier stands are increasingly popular. There is also a refundable deposit for cake stands, this is to cover the cost of replacement if the stand is damaged or not returned within 3 days.

View our extensive range of cakes in the cake galleries on our website.

Use the contact us form on the website. Please include details of the date, the size of cake required and pictures of the designs you like.

We will send you prices for your preferred designs.

Once you have decided on the design you would like and cake flavours and are ready to book your cake, we will send you details for payment. The deposit to confirm your order is £100 for wedding cakes and £25 for other celebration cakes. The deposit amount may vary depending on the value of the cake being ordered. On receipt of the deposit, the date is booked for your cake.
