Decide roughly how many guests will be attending your wedding.
Ring around 3 different suppliers for each item on your list to get an average price.
Add it up and ask yourself if this is realistic. If no resovle to reduce the price by 10% either by getting everything reduced by 10% or taking something out altogether, for example wedding favours, or make your own invitations.
It really is up to you. What are your priorities and what is important to you? Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, it has to be special. whilst keeping costs down you must also spend enough to make the day your day.
You can hire wedding outfits or buy as new, pre-worn dresses.
Venues vary greatly in price. community halls and church halls can be relatively cheap to hire and with the right dressing can look stunning. For summer weddings a marquee in the grounds of a country park or even a relative's garden (if it is big enough) can be a less expensive option to the usual wedding reception venue.
The cost of a wedding can spiral out of control. Once the budget has been set stick to it. the less you spend on your wedding the more you will have to spend on your honeymoon or put towards a deposit for a house.
Remember- It is having your family and friends with you that makes the day special not the amount of money spent.
