Fiat 500 cake
Here is my Fiat 500 birthday cake. I hope you like it.
It was for a 21st birthday last weekend and I am happy to say that the birthday girl loved her cake.
This car is not an easy shape to get from a cake, it is quite a curvy car and once you start cutting away the cake it has to be right. The cake was a vanilla madeira with buttercream filling and although I didn't get to eat any of this one it was delicious.
I have made quite a few car cakes over the years and you can see some of them on the galleries page. As well as cars I have made tanks, aeroplanes, vans, camper vans, a tardis, cruise liners, yachts, kayaks and fighter planes. These can be seen in the vehicles gallery on the website.
April is a very busy month, I have made three very different wedding cakes this week and will be putting one rather unusual one on here tomorrow with a description of how to create the effect.
